Re: Cell phone connection.

Dear members:

I have been quite disappointed lately with my attempts to connect my
Powerbook G4 to the internet using my cell phone.

My cell phone is a Motorola V60 and I purchase a special kit with a cable
and CD-ROM containing the installation software. The CD-ROM does not contain
software or drivers for the Macintosh. I have contacted Motorola and it
currently doesn9t offer Macintosh drivers for any of its cell phones.

Concerning using a Motorola cell as USB modem...

I successfully use my Motorola 720 via Verizon to connect to the net using the Motorola USB cable. To do so required I download a modem script from Verizon. The process did not require adjustments to the phone.

Note, connection speed is 14.4.
