I haven't had to calculate free ion concentrations in buffered solutions for years, but I'm going to need to do it again soon. I used to use a DOS program called "Bound and Determined" which was based on a 1992 article by Brooks and Storey (Anal Biochem. 1992; 201(1):119-26).

There used to be talk of a Mac port but I haven't heard anything about it lately. Does anyone know if there is an equivalent program available for the Mac, or will I have to pull out that old dinosaur and fire up VPC?

Unfortunately searching my usual places hasn't turned up anything (even tried the new Apple Sciences pages and links).
