Re: compiling Ada

Go to apple website, http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/development_tools/ gnatformacosx.html
which will point you to http://adapower.net/macos/ and there you can go to http://adapower.net/macos/macosx.html

hello,
I'd like to compile a few programs in Ada. I believe this can be done with gcc, but I get the following...

% gcc hworld.ads
gcc: hworld.ads: Ada compiler not installed on this system
% gcc --version
gcc (GCC) 3.3 20030304 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 1495)
Copyright (C) 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc.

Has anyone done this on a Mac ? if so, if you could refer me to documentation on installing an Ada compiler (gnat) that would be great.

Thanks,
Avram
