I purchased XLF from Absoft. When XLF final was first released, I tried to order it from IBM. I spent about 40 minutes on the phone being transferred about, finally getting to the local educational rep. He didn't even know what XLF was. IBM is not set up to take orders from individuals as near as I can tell.

I do not believe it! I have experienced exactly the same situation as described above, in my country, with IBM - Greece. Globalization! It seems to be working fine!
