When we originally tried to buy the IBM compiler, it was darn near
impossible to figure out how to do it based on IBM's website. I don't know
if it's gotten any less confusing. Around the same time, Absoft started
selling XLF and it was a no-brainer to buy it from them, especially since
our procurement system has bought from Absoft before. Around here, half the
battle is just getting the paperwork figured out.
