We have tested FEMLAB 3.0a at my department, and found that the
software is unstable for
Computer: Dual 2 GHz PowerPC G5
OP-syst.: Mac OSX 10.3.3
Graphic card: ATY,RV350,VRAM 64MB
We have tested at two different computers of the same type, and the
result is the same: It completely crashes the computer without warning
once the models get of interesting size. It seams to be more a problem
of the java application used to display the graphics, than some
problems with the FEM algorithms.
Anybody have the same experience?
Anybody found a solution?
