Hope I did not give the impression that all the activity is perniscious! Poor choice of words on my part. Most of the traffic on the modem is other users on the cable net doing what all of us routinely do. That being said, the script kiddies preferentially target cable modems and DSL because there are lots of home users who are not security conscience.
