Re: Shark usage

Hi everybody,

I've really been appreciating the altivec discussion lately. I've been working with an ocean model which uses a finite-difference discretization, and I am starting to look at some performance issues. I have tried out some some very simple replacement of loops with altivec instructions and see speed-ups greater than 5x . Shark suggests many improvements.

My code involves many individual loops, none of which use more than 3% of the cpu time during execution. I would like to illustrate this to my supervisor by showing him some of the annotated listings from Shark. Is there a way to make Shark output its annotated source listing as ascii/text or pdf?
