Some of them may not have been installed if you did an upgrade 
installation of Panther.  The 'malloc' man page is one of the ones that's
lost when that happens.  To restore them, you need to re-install the BSD 
SDK package from the 10.3 installation disks.  I don't remember whether it 
was necessary to delete the old BSD SDK recipt from /Library/Receipts, or 
not.  Anyone else remember the details about this?
