One more vote for Keyspan. The drivers work just fine, there is an
entry in /dev which points to the Keyspan device.
PrairyErth:~ jordant$ ls /dev/*US*
/dev/cu.USA19QW1913P1.1 /dev/tty.USA19QW1913P1.1
PrairyErth:~ jordant$
I can talk directly to these devices through the terminal. No hitches
when connecting to remote, home-rolled readout/controller boards with
RS-232.

I want to get a USB->RS232 adapter, but I was wondering if there are
any problems with drivers/setup etc. Do I need to be worried, or
should I just get the one that has the price and appearance that I
want?
I should mention that the software for programming is under
Unix/FreeBSD. I may also want to use it from Softwindow 95.
Thanks in advance.
