WebFoundation / Sherlock doesn't accept cookies from URIs w/o FQDN

This is RadarWeb Bug #3136260.

WebFoundation (Sherlock) doesn't accept cookies from hosts without fully qualified domain names (FQDNs.)

This makes testing web applications on a local system / network a pain if one wants to use host names like "localhost" or "hypsis".

Internet Explorer, Netscape and Chimera all accept cookies from http://hostname/ sources.

Example of the problem:

sherlock://homepage.mac.com/uucee/bugs/Sherlock3/WebFoundation-Cookies/ cookies.xml

(Requires Apache to be running on localhost and /cgi-bin/printenv.cgi to be installed (source included in the channel.))

Versions:

System version: Mac OS X 10.2.3 (6G30)
Framework Name: SherlockCore.framework
Version: 1.0.1
Framework Name: WebFoundation.framework
Version: 0.3
Application Name: Sherlock
Version: 3.5.1
