The pictures channel actually uses a borderless square button with a
tiff that has a round mask, giving the illusion of a round button.
To keep things consistent, it would be nice to hear if 3rd party
developers may legally link to Apple's search button images. I remember
this being mentioned back when talking about sorting. At the time it
was suggested that they (the sorting arrows) be added to the sdk but it
makes more sense to link to the images at
http://si.info.apple.com/sherlock3s/channels/shared/. That way only one
copy is cached and changes to the official images are reflected
immediately in 3rd party channels.
