hi, I develop audio applications in max/msp. I'm not really a heavy hitter when it comes to programming but I recently proposed an application which used spotlight to store metadata in audio files. being able to recall samples by metadata obviously has benefits to the computer musician.

someone pointed out that spotlight data is stored in indexes(stores?) are independent of the file itself. and therefor can't be shared or emailed etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions for either emailing files with spotlight data intact or another way to give a file metadata? -matt _______________________________________________ Do not post admin requests to the list.
