Hi,
It is normal for the client to delay for a couple of seconds if it is the
first client to tune into a reflected broadcast. But subsequent client
connections shouldn't have any delay.
I'm not sure if that helps explain what's going on, but I can't think of any
reason why you'd see the behavior on one platform and not the other. When
comparing the two servers, make sure that you've already connected one
client to the stream before judging the speed that new clients can tune into
the stream.
Assuming that you haven't modified the default XML file, the servers should
have the same config settings.
I'm using a default 4.1.1 server and a QT6 client on OS X, and I can't
reproduce your problem once one client has been connected to the stream.
I see that you're using QTSS 4.1, but there shouldn't be any difference in
behavior between the two versions.
