Re: Performance of QTSS/Broadcaster

Hi,
Thanks very much to all of you replying to me about my question.
Now I can understand why there is a delay between the qt player and QTSS.
My another question is if I wan to use quicktime to implement vidio
conferencing,
that'll be a lit difficult because of the delay. I know there are some video
conferening
products(h.323) on the market and I heard from my friends who have used them
that
it normally only has a couple of frame delay between two sites.

I 'm not clear about the essential difference between streaming video and
video conferencing,
could you guys tell me a lit about it? I feel video conf is more diffecult
because of the two-way
communication. If the MCU in vf can reach very small (.5sec) delay, could
qtss do that?

And, as QT6 supports instant-on in high-speed network environment, is there
anyway to
configure 'skip protection' and 'overbuffering'?

Thanks for your suggestion,
-Chong
