Sorry, my previous post had some error. So please ignore the previous one.
I'm trying to use Quicktime Broadcaster for broadcasting.
My setup is described below:
Quicktime Broadcaster on PowerMac G4(MacOSX10.3) -- INTERNET -- Darwin
Streaming Server on PC (Redhat Linux)
Quicktime Broadcaster's setup
address: rtsp://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8000/
username: user1
password: password1
file: streamingfile
Darwin Streaming Server's Setup
qtaccess file
AuthName BroadcastingCentral
<Limit WRITE>
require user1
</Limit>
require any-user
Movies and qtaccess file all on under this directory
/usr/local/movies/
Ofcause I have created user called user1 with password password1 using
qtpassword command.
I have not created
/usr/local/movies/streamingfile.sdp
yet because I expect it will created automatically?
I'm keep getting error connecting.
Quicktime Broadcaster keeps asking me to enter username and password.
Do you know why???
