As far as I know, there are currently *no* reports of anyone having managed
to run DSS successfully on a 64bit platform. :(
None of the patches that I've tried so far have fixed that problem for me.
I'm afraid we are going to need some serious development work from
volunteers experienced in low-level C++ programming to port DSS to 64-bit
architectures (and fix the alignment issues while they're at it)...
