Hi Rahul,

To my knowledge, the Envivio setup is using DDS, is available as an early access program and should be fully operational (I saw it demoed on the IBC in september, Amsterdam), so you would expect that the demo-material they are offering is hinted and the player supports rtsp-streaming, but I haven't got it working yet neither (same error's). Nor with other material offered sofar (Phillips, ENST, etc)...

the MPEG4IP (opensource, http://mpeg4ip.sourceforge.net/) package contains a mp4 file hinter, but I cannot get it compiled at the moment...

So, this is not helping you very much... I am also still looking for streamable mp4 content... perhaps the next QT version will offer mp4 hinting... (http://www.zdnet.com/zdnn/stories/news/0,4586,5100530,00.html?chkpt=zdnnp1tp02 and look for a statement by Rob Koenen...) One of ISMA's most active members is Apple, so you would expect DDS to be the first thing to be ISMA compliant...

Hi!
 I have been trying to run DSS 4.0 with mp4 files, which I have
downloaded from the www.envivio.com site.
( I am using the envivio patch for quicktime player for viewing mp4
files).
But when I try to stream the client Error. The Error is:
"Error Opening content: RTSP response (DL) (id=0x30587)"
Could anyone suggest what might be going wrong. ( I mean is there a
problem with the player or is there a problem with the file)
Also could anyone suggest me:
(1) Where can I get mp4 files which work with DSS 4.0
(2) Will the envivio player work with the mp4 files streamed with DSS
4.0 .
