Very good timing for this thread as I have just experienced the same problem
while trying our first live stream. QTSS 3.0.1 [v.338] on Red Hat 6.2. I
connected with Sorenson Broadcaster 1.1.1b2 and only got 404 errors. When I
changed the T line of code in the .SDP file to t=0 I was able to view the
stream.
The broadcaster machine has the correct date and time, however when I had
our SysAdmin check the server it was set one day behind (9/4/01 instead of
9/5/01). Changing the date on the server to the correct day and
generating/uploading a new .SDP file eliminated the problem and allowed the
live stream to be viewed without changing the t line.
Similar circumstances, but different results. Check that date/time on the
server again just to be sure. Good luck!
