Re: Darwin Streaming Server and Video Format H.263

Actually QuickTime contains H263 standard. But I don't understand -(Payload 34).
QuickTime has most of codec which we wanna streaming.
you should ues standard H263 codec.
Sorry I can't help you exactly. But The error message means that QuickTime hasn't got that Codec like H 263.
Check your QuickTime components and Version. And re install QuickTime 5.02.
That will help you.

I am running Darwin Streaming Server 3.0.1 on RedHat Linux 7.1. When I try to
transmit using video format H.263(Payload 34) the client station
running QuickTimePlayer display the error message:

"QuickTime is missing software required to perform this operation.
Unfortunately, it is not available on the Quicktime Server".

If I use the video format JPEG(Payload 26) its work perfect. Now, can somebody
help me and tell me what is the missing software in the server
to be able to transmit video format H.263.

Thanks.

Francisco Cruz.
