The culprit seems to be Winamp 2.7x. I tried the stream in Zinf (formerly
known as FreeAmp) on WinXP, and the stream is fantastic. I'll try Winamp
3.0 and see if the issue arrises there. Also, with Zinf, there are NO gaps
and blips, whereas in winamp, they would pop up regularly, regardless of
buffer size.
And another note - Zinf also gets and displays the Icecast stream meta
info from DSS, where Winamp did not. This is with DSS 4.1.1.
