The answer to this is actaully very simple - disable web sharing on the QTSS
machine
I guess that I was reluctant to do this as I thought the QTSS webadmin program
would stop as well, but it doesn't.

Firstly apologies as noted above. Now, having got the grovelling out of the
way, I need your collective wisdom to help me stream over port 80.
I set this option in the QTSS web page, but when I launch the url in QT player
I get a 404. If I change the stream protocol to use UDP etc it works fine.
the url is 'rtsp://ip.address/mystream.sdp'
Any constructive suggestion is most welcome
