Re: QT Broadcaster "record to disk" makes a hinted file (YES)

The QuickTime Broadcaster will automatically insert hint tracks into the file that is
recorded to disk. You should be able to just move, copy, or make a Unix-style symbolic
link pointing to this file within your QTSS media directory and it will be streamable via
rtsp.

When the file is then streamed on demand via RTSP, you do not use an .sdp-style
url. Rather, your RTSP url would access the file as if it was a regular movie on demand:

   rtsp://qtss.domain.com/recorded_to_disk.mov

There is no separate hint track.sdp for each saved.mov The mount point (mystream.sdp
for example) was only used during the initial live broadcast to access the live stream of the
encoded broadcast as it is being reflected by your streaming server.
