Yes, I've used the Twinpact with Wirecast (on a Mac) and it works
well. The twinpact is a scan converter - it converts SVGA to DV. The
quality is good, but it isn't SVGA. Small point text is not very
readable. It works well for presentations, but for application demos
it would be hard to read. It does have a built-in pan-zoom function,
so you could focus on a quadrant of the screen to blow up the size.
This document has a brief tutorial on using the unit with Wirecast to
chroma-key a presenter over a slide presentation (starting on page 56): http://images.apple.com/education/streamingsolution/pdf/

Hi all,
does anyone use Canopus's TwinPact100? I was keen to know the
quality of digitized video/audio from the unit. Did it get
recognized by QT Broadcaster or Wirecast2 on Mac(OSX) or WinXP?
Any problem/complaint on the unit?
thanks!
