I'm trying to simulate a live stream session with DSS and a file that have many RTP packets coded in H264.
I send these RTP packets over RTP/UDP socket to port 6972.I've generated an SDP file and strored in DSS Movies directory.
I capture the packet transmisson between client and server and i see each packet that i send to the machine who has DSS and it reponds with ICMP Dstination Port Unreachable, then i disable firewall but its the same.
When i simuate this session with 2 DSS(one sends a playlist to other) its going fine.Then i captured the packets between the 2 DSS and ,in the beginnig of transmission an RTSP session its estabilished and then the first one DSS begin to send RTP/UDP packets.
I would like to know if that RTSP session is necessary to the live streaming session.
Someone could help me??
