Yep, I'm aware. :O) I'm spec'ing out nodes that will serve 5,000
simultaneous 300 kbps streams, both Xserve-based and PC/blade/ Linux-based.



I am curious as to whether you are planning to do this from one machine. I get that this totals 1.5 Gbps,
which means 10GE. Does Apple even support 10GE for OS X Server ? I can't seem to find this on the Apple store.
