I don't think that statement is accurate. Wirecast for Windows has
the same underlying hardware requirements as the Mac OS X version for
standard functionality, that of non-power of two 3D texture support
in hardware. Apple have not shipped a desktop or laptop machine for
the last three years that didn't have 'Quartz Extreme' capable
graphics hardware. The key requirement for Quartz Extreme is non-
power of two textures.
On the Windows laptop side, the most common low-end video chipset is
the Intel Integrated Graphics. This has supported the system
requirements for a number of years.
