Re: Wirecast 2.5 for Windows

Heiko,

I don't think that statement is accurate. Wirecast for Windows has the same underlying hardware requirements as the Mac OS X version for standard functionality, that of non-power of two 3D texture support in hardware. Apple have not shipped a desktop or laptop machine for the last three years that didn't have 'Quartz Extreme' capable graphics hardware. The key requirement for Quartz Extreme is non- power of two textures.

On the Windows laptop side, the most common low-end video chipset is the Intel Integrated Graphics. This has supported the system requirements for a number of years.

All the best,
Simon Clarke

You need some special 3d graphic card, so it is not usable on many if not most laptops.
