Hello All-
I'm new to the list, so please take it easy when you chastise me for having dredged this topic up again. I'm a 22-year-old video editor, so this isn't really my forte.
Basically, the company that I work for has a static DSL connection, and we're trying to stream a live broadcast to remote clients for real-time approvals. What it boils down to is this: no outside connections. I'm 98% sure that it's a router issue, but I'm not sure how to solve it. I can connect to DSS within my LAN, but not from a remote site through my static IP. Any tricks for configuring the router? It's not directing the connection requests to the DSS server (2000 Advanced Server, by the way). They're just getting lost in translation. Any help would be great.
The second issue is a playlist error. When I try to start a playlist, DSS tells me that it doesn't match the SDP. Bizarre, no?
