Audio not keeping up with video during live stream

I am using an AJA KonaLS audio/video capture card in a PowerMac G5 running Mac OS X 10.4.3 server. I am using QT Broadcaster to encode a live stream of our network, and pass it to QTSS. The link on our webpage opens a popup window and plays the live stream.

The problem is that the audio is not keeping up with the video. It has been running for about 16 hours now, and the audio is 7 seconds behind the video.

Any thoughts on where my problem might be? I can post more specific info on settings or software versions if needed.
