Saw no error message but the file was not readable and was not copied to bla.
But you can send me a low bandwidth bla.sdp and we can check it out,
the target IP is 212.21.77.132

I did copy a working streamingserver.xml to http://gurke.bootlab.org/~uzs106/bla/streamingserver.xml

And yes, DSS is (still?) sort of broken, allthough Ciscos Bill May did send a patch, you can or cannot have DSS and mp4live on the same machine (anymore?). I think it once used to work and there was a very fine chinese Webpage that described such a box.
You could set the destination to 127.0.0.1.
