I had a similar problem when I tried to change the directory
structure
that DSS wants to see. Returning to the default values made it work
again.
This could also be caused by a file in the playlist that is incorrect
or corrupted.

Hello Usergroup,
I use the DarwinStreamingSrvr5.5-Linux on a X86 Machine with Debian
Linux 3.1
I installed the whole Darwin with the Install Routine as described
in the README.
I have access to the Admin-Interface and I can stream the Sample
Movies over RTSP.
Now I want to test the MP3. Therefor it is neccessary to use the
Playlists.
Now, when i have created the Playlist with the MP3 the next step
was to start the Playlist.
And then I get the error Message "ERROR: An error occurred while
starting or stopping your playlist"
Is there anybody who can say me what is wrong or what can I do?
Has it to do with the Linux Distribution?
Thanks.
