Darwin on win 2003

Hi, Im currently setting up my own windows 2003 server with the intention of streaming screen capture content live from my home machine, and using the 100mbit bandwidth of the server to distribute it to viewers.

First of all, is this possible with apple's software? I've taken a look at wirecast 2.5 which seems to do what im after in theory.

If this is possible, can anyone shed some light on my troubles with getting darwin to work. Bear in mind im an admin server newbie. On my first day Ive managed to get php working, mysql, transfered over databases, http is up, ftp is running etc, so I'm fairly competent. However perl and the streaming server are another matter;

I first installed activeperl 5.8.7 then added the streaming server, however the admin .pl script tells me I have to have perl 5.8.7 or newer running....*cough* I've added the cgi and pl extensions into IIS's list of extensions but still it fails. I then read that others have this same problem with the latest activeperl, so ive downgraded to 5.8.6, but its still no go. A basic hello world script seems to work fine, so ill assume perl is installed correctly. Running the streamingadminserver.pl file from a web browser tells me:

CGI Error
The specified CGI application misbehaved by not returning a complete set of HTTP headers.

And running it from DOS simply locks up the dos window and nothing else. If I load manually any of the html files, I get some graphics, and buttons, but they do nothing and the buttons display code instead of actually running it. I am however able to run the password reset pl file and this seems to work fine, so I can setup a username and password, but thats it, nothing more.

Can someone provide me with a known working combination of windows server 2003, a perl version and a streaming server version? If not, what other options do I have for streaming desktop content? I've gotten videolan to work quite well, however the stability is less than stellar and I also have to worry about other users not having codecs installed. Whatever I choose, must work on windows and mac.
