Seems that VLC does not have " rtsp announce" option :(
I'll file a bug/feature request for this.
P.S.:
It seems that there is no active moderators for

lists.
Could you change the 12KB limit for message on these lists (or may be you
know the one who can do it).
With this limit you cannot make a long follow-up conversation with people
nowadays.
People constantly complaining but nothing seems to be done, even by John
Murata on dev list (probably he is not the moderator).
Here is an example of one reject I've got today:
" our mail to 'Streaming-server-dev' with the subject
RE: Help with Streaming to Japan
Is being held until the list moderator can review it for approval.
The reason it is being held:
Message body is too big: 15644 bytes with a limit of 12 KB
Either the message will get posted to the list, or you will receive
notification of the moderator's decision. If you would like to cancel this
posting, please visit the following URL:
