2gb limit?

running 5.5.5 under windws and linux, it seems to refuse to stream a file
that is larger than 2 gb. I dropped the bit-rate a bit and reduced the
total size to 1.9 gb and streaming worked fine.

Is the a hard and fast limit, or is there a way around it? (File was MP4,
h264, AAC audio and hinted for server streaming.)

thanks,

Geof
