Hi members.
I have a question. I'm streaming multicast using a broadcaster
(Mp4live). I'have a lot o subnets (many routers between them), and
multicast works just fine on these LAN's.
The clients join to the multicast session using the .sdp file created
by Mp4live.
Now I want to stream to Internet using DSS, I'ts running on a Linux
Machine (Firewall Turned off). and it has 2 ethernet interfaces. The
first one using a LAN IP, the second one using a Public IP.
The question is.. How the Internet clients can connect to DSS? (relay)
What .sdp file should them use?
I've modified the "Multicast" sdp file (and copied to DSS media
directory), so now it contains the DSS public IP instead of Multicast
IP. When clients request this .sdp file they do:
rtsp://PublicIpDSS/file.sdp
But it doesnt works. What I am doing wrong?
ps: The Multicast UDP packets reach the DSS Machine, I saw using Wireshark
thans to all
