Hi,

Does DSS generate an SDP file?
I edited the streamingserver.xml config file to reflect my needs -
---
<PREF NAME="record_movie_file_sdp" TYPE="Bool16">true</PREF>
<PREF NAME="enable_movie_file_sdp" TYPE="Bool16">true</PREF>
---
And i expected to see sdp file(s) under the same folder as the movie files after they were requested by a rtsp client.
But that does not seem to be happening.
I am running the DSS on a linux PC that is on local ethernet network.

I have already tried to capture the SDP file from wireshark/ ethereal on the client PC. When i open that sdp file, i am unable to play the movie. The VLC rtsp client player says it's timing out.

Any suggestions on how to dynamically generate the sdp file by the DSS?
