Nice, hadn't come across that one, being from a SunOS/HP-UX/AIX world. Jot is certainly more flexible, might want to use '-' in place of 10000 to ensure generality:


 jot -s\  - 10 20 1

alan$jot -s\  - 10 20 1
10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20
