...I'm using a crossplatform application that is extensible via external libraries, and these are loaded on OSX via NSLinkModule(), using the options "BINDNOW" and "PRIVATE"...PRIVATE is being used to prevent crashes in the case of duplicate symbols in loaded libraries, but it's also preventing on library to use functions in other libraries: is there any way around this?

...ie. Pd.app loads libraries GEM and PDP...we want a GEM2PDP that hooks the two together, but when I use "-undefined suppress" in linking, I still can't find the right symbols when loaded by the application...

help?
