   Hi All,

   I want to set some user -defined environment variables .
   To do this  I used the setenv in Jaguar and set in Panther.
   
   The problem is I have to do this everytime I log in.

    Now what I want to know is there any file where we can set the
environment variables.

    In solaris to do the same we have .profile file.

    Any info regarding this matter will be highly appreciated.
