Re: Trying to port from xcode to linux gcc

I wrote a command line application in xcode. Nothing too complex, no mac-specific features as far as I know. When I try to compile on linux using gcc I get a raft of errors, and can find no reason for them. I'm not even sure if I'm using gcc right, since I'm new to this. Any suggestions?

As others have noted, real information would help. What goes wrong, and under what circumstances?

FWIW, on Ubuntu Linux 5.10, "cc -o foo main.c dict.c" produces 0 warnings/errors.

Justin
