Please look at your config.log, I'm guessing that it can not create executables because libcc_dynamic is not available with xcode2. This probably means that you'll be back to issues with restFP and saveFP when you remove -lcc_dynamic. Try adding /usr/lib/gcc/powerpc-apple-darwin8/4.0.1/libgcc.a to your LIBS environment variable to work around it.
