A couple of days ago, I tried using USB Probe to do some USB

never used the USB Probe application before, and when I tried to
log USB, USB
Probe needed to install a kernel extension, which I allowed it to do.
Activating logging promptly crashed my machine (I get the grey
screen). So I
came to this list and discovered that the USB debug kit hadn't been
released
for 10.4.4, which I am running. I waited a few days and installed
the newly
released kit for 10.4.4 PPC this morning, yet the attempting to
activate USB
logging still crashes the machine.
I'm running a PowerMac dual g5 1.8ghz with 10.4.4 installed. I have
two 2.0 usb
cards installed as well ( from memory, I think they are from sonnet
tech ). I
haven't taken the time to take the cards out to see if it works,
but I might if
no one has any other possible solutions to try.
Any help to get usb logging running is appreciated.
Thanks,
Anthony
