I'm continuing to work on my first liquid layout. On to the next
problem which I thought (think?) was a 3px IE6 problem, but I tried
to apply some 3px fixes, but was not successful. Here are the links:
I've put in some commented-out borders and padding to perhaps help
with solving the problem. Uncomment them if you need them.
The problem is mostly in IE6. FF and Safari look good and IE7 looks
good with one problem. In IE6 there is a three pixel gap in two
places - between #right_column and left_wrap, and the other is
between #nav_left_corner and #nav. Both #right_column and
#nav_left_corner are floated divs. I thought it might be a "Has
Layout" trigger with some of these layers, but adding a hight: 1%
didn't seem to work. Perhaps I was not "triggering" in the correct
place.
The last problem, which can be seen in IE6 and IE7 is that
#left_column is not "clearing" the #nav_left_corner div that is above
it. Thus it is pushed to the right. I'm pretty confused on that one two.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much,
Mark
