Are you aware that you can use AppleScript for that. The data flow would be:
HTML form -> special cgi provided with Smile Server -> AS handler where you use XMLLib to: process form's data, handle db, and generate XHTML to return.
Thanks for the suggestions Emmanuel. On this job we have to build the web site on a MS IIS web server. The PHP5 XML tools look OK, though I haven't done a lot with them yet. I am crossing my fingers.
