RE: AppleScripts for Easy JavaScript Error Handling, Testing

Hi Philip

I would be interested in see your apple script code for that etc… I’m not currently working on mac however I am having to test for mac and that level of integration would be useful. I may even be able to help a little with the enhancement but I can’t promise anything.

Thanks

John

Subject: AppleScripts for Easy _javascript_ Error Handling, Testing

Hi -

I'm in the process of writing some AppleScripts to propagate _javascript_ browser errors back to your IDE or editor and wanted to see if anyone is interested in them or helping to enhance. At this point it's Mac only (AppleScript) and allows integration between any web browser and any text editor or IDE which supports AppleScript. At the moment I mainly have to working with Camino/Safari/FireFox and Xcode. I have two goals: 1. to catch any syntax errors and automatically bounce back to the appropriate line in your IDE/ext editor. 2. Catch any runtime errors, etc and try to bounce back to your IDE/text editor.
