As usual I'm not sure whether this is the right list to post the problem, but
I'll try it anyway:
Since updating to Safari 1.3 we experience an unload event problem - it is not
triggered anymore!
Neither using window.addEventListener, setting window.onunload nor even
writing <body onunload="..."> produces the desired result.
This behavior is also documented by PPK's Quirksmode page
(http://www.quirksmode.org/js/events_compinfo.html) and several blogs.
As this behavior may seriously hurt web applications - is there a bug fix
planned?
