Re: npruntime scripting with object+embed tags

Have you checked it out in recent nightly builds?

It looks like the specific bugs about this were addressed some time ago (but not released to Tiger).

Hi,

In Safari 2.0.4 a plugin that exposes npruntime scripting iterface
does not fully work if the <embed> tag is placed inside the <object>
tag in the html file (a common technique to get both IE and the rest
of the world working).

When <embed> is inside <object>, Safari will not even try to call
NPP_GetValue to get the scriptable object. It works fine if <embed>
tag is taken outside.

I see that this problem was already reported back in 2005:

any update on the issue? Should I file a separate Radar report?
