I think the NPAPI is the right way to go. If "length" returns 0 for
an array with five items in it, that sounds like either a bug in how
you're accessing "length," or a bug in WebKit.

In that case I should file a Radar, right?

Sure -- If you're clear that there's not bug in how you're accessing "length."


Is there some known-to-work way to access javascript arrays via NPAPI?

Even if "length" returns 0, you could try to access property 0, 1, 2, etc. When you got to the end of the array, you would get "undefined" back.
