Let me rephrase the question, because somebody out there *must* have been confronted with this problem.
I would like to compile WebKit for use on OS X 10.3.9. So I tried compiling with this command:
WebKitTools/Scripts/build-webkit MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET=10.3
Seemed logical. Didn't work. The compiler chokes on a declaration containing the word DEPRECATED_IN_MAC_OS_X_VERSION_10_5_AND_LATER in DOMCSS.h. Can't find any documentation on compiling WebKit...
Help! Help!

Is it possible to embed the WebKit frameworks within an application so that it will run on Panther?
Currently we embed the four frameworks from the nightly build and set DYLD_FRAMEWORK_PATH to point to them. That works fine on Tiger, but on Panther there is an unsatisfied link to the QuartzCore framework...
Thanks for any suggestions,
Geoff
