I have a flash-based application embedded in an html page. Both are locally stored, but the flash app accesses network resources. When loaded into the WebKit nightly build of Safari (version r25140) the flash movie calls a _javascript_ function signaling that it's loaded and ready for use and it correctly runs when given appropriate input. The same html file though, when loaded into a WebView in my app, running against both Safari 2.x and the same version of WebKit never calls the _javascript_ method signaling that the movie has loaded and it never responds to the same input.
What might cause an embedded flash application to work in Safari, but not my app?
